Background

Situated within the Sovereign Harbour Complex at Eastbourne, Hamilton Quay is a development of premium waterside properties that include townhouses and apartment blocks ranging up to five storeys, plus basement parking. Although part of a collective agreement, the apartment blocks are managed by individual residents and an agent in one case. The lifts in the 30 apartment blocks were all outside of their warranty period and Temple Lifts was asked to participate in a competitive tendering process for all of the lifts across the 30 blocks.

Our Approach and Solution

During the pre-tender stage, our Southern (Havant) based Regional Service Operations Manager, together with our local field service supervisor, spent time onsite surveying the lifts. This allowed us to establish the status of each lift and, subsequently, submit correctly budgeted figures. Along with our financial proposal, we produced a maintenance plan designed to maintain the reliability of the lifts.

The Result

Shortly after our tender submission, Temple Lifts was awarded the lift maintenance contract for this prestigious location. Now our local service team are working with the Hamilton Quay managing agents and individual resident associations, providing a friendly service that focuses on the reliability of lifts for the residents.
