NVQ2 Administration Trainees
As we continue to grow, it is part of Temple Lifts’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy to support local communities through employment opportunities, as is also reflected through the objectives of many of our Public Sector clients.
In creating new opportunities, we offer employed work training to those studying for NVQ2 Administration and Business qualifications at local colleges where our offices are located. We currently have a number of younger people working with us that are working towards this qualification, and others seeking re-training by working in our regional offices.
NVQ3 Qualified Lift Engineers Training
It is Temple Lifts’ founding principle to directly employ our lift engineers. We also ensure that the people we employ all have the minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification. However, if they have not yet achieved this qualification, Temple Lifts are passionate about helping them to reach this goal. We do this by employing them initially as Assistant Engineers to gain industry experience, then selecting them for coaching all the way through to the achievement of the NVQ Level 3 accreditation as Lift Engineers with practical site training and experience.
We hold a commitment to investing in the training of young people from the local and ethnically diverse areas where our regional offices are located; we have recently had 5 engineers qualify in the last 3 months who have now taken full-time Engineer positions that support our ever-growing business needs.
Our next wave of trainees will commence their NVQ3 accreditation training in January 2015.
